Dear members of the Korean Society of Echocardiography,
It is the time to welcome deepening autumn and coming winter. Paying tribute to the devotion of all of you who are silently securing the medical field despite the difficult times due to various circumstances, I would like to invite you to KSE 2024 <57th Annual Scientific Meeting of the Korean Society of Echocardiography> to be held at Grand Walkerhill Seoul on November 23 and 24, 2024.
Celebrating its 30th anniversary last year, the Korean Society of Echocardiography has achieved remarkable growth as a society recognized at home and abroad through the dedicated sacrifice and effort of our excellent seniors and passionate members. However, not satisfied with this achievement, we promise to strive to become an even more advanced society.
This year, <KSE 2024> has prepared a program where participants can discuss various fields with echocardiography-related societies (ASE, AAE, JSE) from the US, Japan, and Asia under the slogan of “Connecting Hearts, Imaging Tomorrow.” <KSE 2024> has also prepared a variety of sessions where participants can present lectures and excellent academic research results from renowned domestic and international speakers in the field of cardiac imaging, including echocardiography. And we have prepared the “Abstract” and “Young Investigator Award” sessions so that participants can faithfully cover the basics of echocardiography through the “Basic Echo Review Course,” listen to and discuss the research results of competent young researchers who will lead the future of the Korean Society of Echocardiography. In addition, we have prepared a new “Afternoon Debate” session to provide “a venue for an academic conference to move forward together” with our members.
As you know, the annual fall conference is the most important event of our society. I would like to express my gratitude to the directors and members of the society who have worked hard to plan and prepare for this event. Hoping that this <KSE 2024> will be of great help to your clinical activities and academic research achievements, we ask for your active participation and support so that we can widely publicize the capabilities of the Korean Society of Echocardiography in Korea and abroad, expand exchanges among members, and become a true venue for expanding knowledge.
