Dear Members of the Korean Society of Echocardiography,
Greetings to you all!
The Year of Eulsa (the year of the blue snake), 2025, has dawned upon us.
The past year was an especially challenging and turbulent time for the medical field. Amid the unexpected crises in medical policies that shook our pride and sense of duty as physicians, I extend my heartfelt gratitude to all of you who persevered and dedicated yourselves to protecting the health of your patients. I also express my deepest thanks to Chairman Jung Hae-eok and the board members, who, despite these difficulties, successfully carried out numerous initiatives, including hosting academic conferences, nurturing young researchers, supporting the next generation, and providing diverse educational opportunities such as webinars and YouTube channels.
The journey ahead this year will undoubtedly bring its own challenges. However, as always, I am confident that with your passion, effort, and participation, we can overcome any adversity together.
The blue snake symbolizes wisdom and recovery. I firmly believe that 2025 will be a year of uniting our resolve and wisdom to grow stronger and rise higher than ever before. The current difficulties will eventually lead to the right outcomes, as truth and justice always prevail.
Your interest and participation are the most significant driving forces behind the growth of our society. I kindly ask for your continued support and active involvement. I will do my best for the society that will grow together with all members.
As we welcome the New Year, I sincerely hope that all your wishes come true and that your homes are filled with health and happiness.
Thank you.
